A NEW EDITION OF THE SHOOTING CAMP ARRIVES
Almería, Badalona and Amsterdam are the sites of the current year's edition of the shooting camp.
These kind of campus -teaching fundamentals of specific skills- are becoming more and more common and important in the sport of basketball. Josep M Margall organises and runs from year 1993 the only european campus exclusively devoted to shooting skills. Besides his current job as a coach of fundamentals in DKV Joventut, Josep M Margall has worked the shooting technique with players that nowadays play in the NBA, ACB league and other european leagues.
In basketball, the most valuable fundamental is shooting. Any offensive play is completed with success if the ball goes into the bucket, but behind this simple action, plenty of hours of devoted work are spent on working this specific skill. The purpose of this campus is to work on and improve all the shooting skill possibilities. Besides, all the other fundamentals (starts and stops among others), that support the proper shooting execution are also emphasized.

PRACTICE AND PERSONALIZED SHOOTING ANALYSIS
Shots are analyzed and improved individually for each one of the players. A constantly supervision work is carried out by the coaches, discovering shooting tricks that lead to a successful shot.

During the Campus, court basketball practices are combined with video analysis. On the first day, each player carries out shooting drills that are video-recorded in order to define the shooting details that should be improved: afterwards, all this are personally commented with each player. Throughout the week court basketball practices are focused to work on the improvement of these particular shooting details.

The day before the last basketball practice, recordings are repeated and shooting evolution is tested. In the last basketball practice, a personalized CD recorded-video is hand out to each one of the players. A few days after the campus, an individual report is sent to the players.

DURATION AND CALENDAR
The duration of the Campus spans from Monday until Saturday noon, covered by basketball practices of two hours in the morning, and two hours in the afternoon (completing a total of 22 hours in one week).

From June 21st to June 26th in Almería.
From June 28th to July 3rd in Almería.
From July 5th to July 10th in Badalona.
From July 19th to July 24th in Badalona.
From July 26th to July 31st in Badalona.
From August 2nd to August 7th in Badalona.
From August 16th to August 21st in Ámsterdam.

Campus will take place in Almería, the Municipal Olimpic Stadium of Badalona and in Amsterdam

PRICE: 420 € for one week
720 € for two weeks

NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS
A maximum of 12 players per week.
